Templates
What is a template
A template defines how your clips look:
- Banner — image overlay (your text/CTA)
- Background — black bars or blurred video
- Subtitles — text shown on screen
- Hook text — AI-generated opening text
Create a template
- Go to /templates
- Click + New Template
- Choose a name (e.g. "Vlogs", "Shorts")
- Upload a banner image (PNG/JPG)
- Click Preview Video to position all elements on the 9:16 canvas
Preview Video editor
The editor shows a 9:16 canvas (1080×1920). Drag elements to position them:

|---|---|
| CLIP VIDEO | Up / down — where the video window appears |
| BANNER | Anywhere — banner position |
| HOOK TEXT | Up / down — hook text position |
| SUBTITLE TEXT | Up / down — subtitle position |
Click Save to apply positions.
Background options
- Black bars — vertical bars on sides, video in the center
- Self-blur — blurred areas around the video
Default template
Set a template as default in settings — all new uploads use it automatically.
