Upload

How to upload

On the Upload page, drag files into the drop zone or click to pick them. Multiple at once is fine.

Formats

MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, WebM, TS and more. Exotic and interlaced formats are auto-normalized before processing.

Max file size is set on the server (typically up to 2 GB per file).

Per-video settings

In each upload card:

  • Template — the styling applied to every clip from this video
  • Music volume — if the template has a background track
  • Skip moment review — clips auto-approved right after cutting
  • Skip final review — clips go to the publish queue right after rendering

Enable both skips → upload and the clips are ready to schedule with zero manual steps.

What happens after upload

  1. Normalize — convert to standard H.264 MP4
  2. Transcribe — speech-to-text (Groq or Fireworks)
  3. Scene detection — find shot boundaries
  4. Select moments — AI picks fragments per the template's settings
  5. Cut — each moment becomes its own clip

Takes a few minutes depending on length. Progress shows on the video page.

Queue

Multiple videos process in parallel. The concurrency limit is admin-configurable (default 5).

If zero clips were cut

Sometimes the AI finds no suitable moments (short video, no clear scenes). The system retries, and if it's still empty the video is flagged with an explanation. Adjust the template (fewer clips / lower min length) and re-upload.
